ABOUT US
G.E. Woods opened a grocery store in 1947 with a Meat Department consisting of a wooden cutting block, a very small grinder, meat cleaver, hand slicer and some knives. Now, 73 years later, his son Edward Woods has grown the business into an international affair.
In October of 2020, Woods Smoked Meats was purchased by HWC, LLC - Mike Sloan- Owner of Hermann Wurst Haus in Hermann, Missouri, Steve Bolton- Manager at Woods Smoked Meats and Cory Hawkins- Owner of Central Missouri Meat & Sausage in Fulton, Missouri. This trio has a combined experience of Award Winning Meat & Sausage that spans across the globe. We look forward to preserving the traditions of Woods Smoked Meats recipes and bringing you new and exciting products, as well.
